DakJen Creative LLC ("DakJen Creative," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you visit dakjencreative.com (the "Site"), contact us, or engage our services. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
In plain terms: this website does not use advertising trackers or cookies of any kind. We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that counts page views without identifying you or following you across other sites. We receive personal information only when you choose to submit one of our forms, email us, or book a call. A small number of third-party services (described below) run the Site.
1. Who We Are
DakJen Creative LLC is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at business@dakjencreative.com. We operate from New York, NY and Baltimore, MD (United States).
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. You share information with us only when you choose to:
- Email us (for example, at business@dakjencreative.com) — we receive your name, email address, and anything you include in your message.
- Book a call through our scheduling link — you provide your name, email address, and any details you add when scheduling. This booking is handled by Google Calendar (see Section 4).
- Submit a form — our "Get Customized Support" quote form and our Opportunity Scan form collect the details you enter, such as your name, organization, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the information you write about what you are trying to solve. Submissions are delivered to us by email through Brevo (see Section 4). Because these forms exist so that we can respond to you, we also store your name and email address in our Brevo contact list, "DakJen Creative" — a list of people who may be interested in our services. We reply to the request you made, and we may occasionally send you an update about our work. We do not send on a fixed schedule, we do not sell or share the list, and replying "remove" to any message takes you off it immediately.
- Ask to be kept posted — the short form in our site footer collects your name and email address only, and adds you to the same "DakJen Creative" contact list described above. The same terms apply: occasional updates, no fixed schedule, no sharing, and "remove" works instantly.
Information collected automatically. Like virtually all websites, when you visit the Site our hosting provider automatically records standard server-log data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This is used for security and to keep the Site running.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand which pages people visit. It does not use cookies, does not store or share your IP address, does not build a profile of you, and cannot follow you to other websites. It records aggregate information such as the page path, the referring site, and general device and country information. We use this only to understand which parts of the Site are useful. We do not run advertising trackers on the Site.
3. Cookies
The Site does not set cookies. We do not use first-party cookies, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. Our analytics tool is deliberately cookieless — see Section 2. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google but does not set cookies. A cookie would only come into play if you choose to click our "Book a Call" link and continue on Google's own scheduling site, where any cookies are set and controlled by Google. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time without affecting the content of the Site.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
We rely on a small number of reputable providers to operate the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Website hosting — our host stores the Site and maintains server logs (including IP addresses) for delivery and security.
- Google Fonts — the Site loads typefaces from Google's font servers. When a page loads, your browser's IP address and request information are sent to Google so the fonts can be delivered. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Calendar (scheduling) — our "Book a Call" link opens Google's appointment scheduling. If you book, the name, email, and details you enter are processed by Google on our behalf. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Brevo (form delivery) — when you submit a form on the Site, Brevo delivers that submission to us by email and sends you a confirmation. Brevo processes the information you entered on our behalf. See Brevo's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel (hosting and analytics) — Vercel hosts the Site and provides the cookieless Web Analytics described in Section 2. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we receive to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- Schedule and conduct calls, meetings, and consultations;
- Provide and manage our services to clients;
- Operate, secure, and maintain the Site;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
6. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and responding to inquiries; the performance of a contract when we work together; and compliance with legal obligations.
7. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers (including Google and our host) may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, our providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here — for example, to maintain our correspondence and business records and to meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may exercise your rights using the contact details above, and you may use an authorized agent to do so.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site links to other websites and platforms, including our affiliated brands (such as Go Be Notable, Elitewise Escapes, Badjr, The Wren Club, and Design Domain) and external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general, business audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
