Dakotah Jennifer.

Dakotah holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Columbia University, where she developed a deep understanding of narrative, language, audience, and communication. Her writing background influences every aspect of her creative leadership — shaping the way she approaches storytelling, design, and brand strategy.

Before earning her MFA, she studied English at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating Magna Cum Laude, where she began exploring how language, visual identity, and storytelling intersect to build trust and inspire action.

At Northern Real Estate Urban Ventures, Dakotah led marketing and media strategy, developed brand materials, and refined the company's visual and narrative identity — deepening her understanding of how cohesive storytelling drives business outcomes and community engagement.

Her editorial work spans BUST Magazine, PopSugar, RaceBaitr, and the Black Youth Project — where she developed social campaigns, wrote and edited content, and built storytelling strategies centered on voice, clarity, and cultural impact.

As Online Community Manager for Supermajority, she oversaw story curation and audience engagement across a large national network, building expertise in brand voice, communication systems, and online community growth.
